Weekly Bulletin

The Pajama Game
Tickets are now on sale for this years' School Show - The Pajama Game. All ordered tickets must be collected from the school office as soon as possible. Wednesday and Thursday nights have both sold out, however there are still a few tickets available for Monday and Tuesday.

S5/6 School Show Help
Miss Reid and Ms Kazeminia are looking for volunteers in S5/6 to help with applying make-up to the cast of "The Pajama Game". There will be a meeting held on Tuesday 22nd September at 12:15PM in English Room 3 for those who would like to help out. We look forward to seeing you there!

Creative Writing Club
If you like to use your imagination and be creative, come along to the creative writing club. Miss Reid and Ms Kazeminia will be having a meeting on Wednesday 23rd September at 12:15PM in English Room 3. All S1 pupils are more than welcome to come along and find out more.

Dry Slope Skiing
Any pupils who wish to learn to ski/snowboard or improve their ability at Bellahouston/Xscape Ski slopes on Thursdays after school should contact Mr Rankin in the PE Department ASAP.

Rugby
Extra-curricular rugby resumes on Wednesday at 3:45PM-5:00PM.
All boys in S1-4 are welcome to attend. No previous experience is required, just an interest in playing school rugby.
Please bring all your normal PE kit to the PE department. See Mr Stewart or Mr Barrie for more information.

Fitness
The fitness club runs at lunchtimes on Monday. We utilise the fitness room and work on weights and CV equipment. All age groups welcome. See Mr Stewart.

Basketball
S1 basketball started lunchtime on Monday 31st August 2009.
S2-6 basketball continues on Thursday 3:45PM-5:00PM
All interested pupils are welcome.

Volleyball
Senior volleyball resumes on Tuesday at lunchtime. Please note the change of day. All pupils from S4-6 welcome.

Hockey
The Hockey club resumes in the Games Hall on Wednesday for S1-3 from 3:45PM-5:00PM. All abilities welcome!

Junior Volleyball
Wednesday 12:10PM-12:40PM. Open to all pupils in S1-3 who wish to learn to play are welcome to attend. Please see Mrs Bleach (PE) for more information.

Gymnastics
S1 Gymnastics club operates on Tuesday lunchtime 12:10PM start.
S2 and above on Wednesday after school 3:45PM-5:00PM.

Cheer-leading
Cheer-leading will continue on a Tuesday after school to Thursday lunchtime due to school show rehearsals.

Badminton
The badminton club takes place on Tuesdays from 4:00PM-5:00PM in the Games Hall.

School Show Lighting Team
Mr Black, Mr MacLellan and Mr Withey are looking for pupils in S2 and S3 who would be interested in being a member of the lighting team for this year's School Show. If you would like to be involved, then come along to a meeting in M5 at the afternoon interval today (Monday 7 September 2009).

HPV Injections
There will be some disruption to classes on Tuesday morning due to the HPV injections.

Senior Mixed Choir
Senior Mixed Choir rehearsals have started. Rehearsals take place on Monday lunchtimes at 12:15PM in Music Room 1. Any S3-6 pupils who enjoy singing are welcome to come along.

Junior Choir
Junior Choir rehearsals have started. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday lunchtimes at 12:15PM in Music Room 1. Any S1-3 pupils who enjoy singing are welcome to come along.

S4 Work Experience
Anyone who needs either boots or overalls for their placement should see Mrs Dyett before Wednesday.

S4 Police Placement
There is an opportunity to complete a weeks work experience with Strathclyde Police. There is only one place available and only those seriously interested in joining the Police will be considered. Names to Mrs Dyett before Friday please.

S6 Buddying
All buddying forms should now have been returned. Buddying timetables will be posted on the Enterprise notice board outside E1 this week. Ensure you know where and when you are buddying. Attendance is compulsory and will be closely monitored. Any problems see Mrs Dyett.

If any S1s are interested in attending a book club to be held every second Friday lunchtime in the downstairs library, please see the Librarian - Miss Allan - as soon as possible.

All Pupils
You will all receive your extra curricular timetable this week in SE. There are over 50 clubs to choose from so there really is something for everyone! Sign up soon!

S6
Could all S6 please return their 'buddy' forms before next Friday - 4th September. All sheets should be handed in either to the office or Mrs Dyett.

Badminton
Badminton will start back Tuesday 1st September 4:00PM-5:00PM in the Games Hall. All pupils welcome, please bring your PE kit and racquet if you have one.
