On Friday the 6th of December, Fashion and Accessories work of Dalziel High Art and Design Department pupils made its debut on the runway of the “Made in Lanarkshire” North Lanarkshire Schools Fashion Show.

On Friday 11th October, Dalziel High School hosted their annual senior house quiz-a much loved and intense competition. The teams, comprising of one pupil per house from third to sixth year, battled their way through questions from a variety of topics, from film to music, science to history, highlighting individual prowess and combined team success.
Senior girls Joanna Lilly and Chloe Anderson (S5) have beaten stiff competition to be selected as finalists for this years North Lanarkshire ‘Dragons Lair’ competition. The Dragons Lair initiative has been created to encourage young people to develop the best business idea and identify the most enterprising individual(s) that can demonstrate a high degree of entrepreneurship and vision for the future.
On Saturday 30th November a double decker bus of just under 80 Dalziel pupils made their way to Princes Square's 'Festival of Choirs' in Glasgow to raise funds for the charity Hansel.
Welcome to The Watch Over Earth Project. We’re a group of 13 & 14 year old secondary school students interested in pursuing a career in engineering. As a result of this common interest we, in conjunction with our physics teacher, founded this research program at Dalziel High School.

On the afternoon of Friday 15th November a group of 11 Dalziel pupils travelled to Ravenscraig to help at a P1-3 sports event.
