Modern Languages

Bienvenue! and ¡Bienvenidos!

In S1 and S2 pupils will become multilingual by learning both French and Spanish in their first 2 years at Dalziel.

From S3 to S6 pupils have the opportunity to continue their learning in both languages or they can choose to focus on one.

Through learning French and Spanish, pupils will enjoy discovering their place in the world as a Global Citizen and investigate cultural information on a range of different French and Spanish speaking countries.

They will develop their communication skills in pairs or during group work and will learn to express themselves in a foreign language on a range of topics.
