School Show 2023 - "Matilda Jr"

Sit up straight, maggots! The Trunchbull is storming the corridors of Dalziel High School and you’re late for her… our… sold out production of “Matilda Jr.”

The tale of a brainy little bookworm born into a family that doesn’t understand her genius, “Matilda Jr” sees the revolting children of Roald Dahl’s pages explode like a big, Bogtrottery, chocolatey burp onto the stage. Featuring music and lyrics by comedian Tim Minchin and a book by Dennis Kelly, this is a hilarious show which will have you laughing until you Choke(y)!

With Mrs Kelly from Drama directing a cast of over sixty onstage-performers, and more than thirty pupils at the helm of lighting, sound, props and costume, the show will take registers from Monday 9th the Crunchem Hall term ends on Thursday 12th..

So sit back, shut up, and PAY ATTENTION to our production of “Matilda Jr”!
