School Captain
My name is Ross Hannah, and I am this year's School Captain. Firstly, I would like to thank all of the students and teachers who voted me in the election, as I aim to keep up the high standard of Captains which Dalziel has had in the past.
I would also like to congratulate Laura Wilson on becoming Vice Captain. I am very excited to work with her throughout the year, furthermore I would like to congratulate the House Officials who were voted in, as a result, we have three fantastic house teams and a very competitive year ahead of us.
I will be working with the Vice Captain to organise a number of school events, and represent the school. I will be working closely with the Senior Depute Head to effeciently plan the upcoming year. I will play a large part both within my own year group, co-operating with house officials, and also with the lower years. I hope to do a good job this year, and ensure that 2013-2014 is another successful session for the school.

My name is Laura Wilson and I am delighted to have been elected School Vice Captain for the 2013-2014 session. Firstly, I would like to thank every pupil and teacher who voted for me for the post during the elections and I hope that I prove myself as the right choice throughout the coming year.
I aim to represent the school in the best possible way that I can and hope that I am successful in contributing well to each event on the Dalziel school calendar that I am involved in. I am aware the post will be challenging but rewarding and I look forward to working with the school captain, Ross Hannah throughout the year.
