Sponsored Walk 2019
Dalziel High School's annual sponsored walk around Strathclyde Park took place on Wednesday 22nd May 2019.
Pupils from S1-3 took part, proudly walking the perimeter of the loch. The school was delighted to have Haggi the Haggis (The British Transplant Games Mascot) officially start the walk. This event provided pupils with an excellent opportunity to keep fit and raise money at the same time.
All funds raised will be shared with BRAKE and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. Both of which are road safety charities. This is something very important given how busy all the roads are around the school can be particular at drop off and pick up times.
It was a great achievement for all pupils involved. A huge thank you goes to all staff and pupils who made the event such a success. We have already received excellent contributes so far but for those still to raise funds the deadline to hand money into Mrs Kelly (in Science) is Monday 17h June.
Best of luck fund raising.
