Science Fayre 2025

The 2025 Science Fayre was back in the Assembly Hall this year, the standard and variety of projects was what we come to expect from the Dalziel S1 Science Fayre.

All S1 pupil take part in the event by working as part of a group on a topic of their choosing. The best project from within each S1 Class are selected by their peers, the nine projects selected move forward to the final stages were they have to present their projects to pupils from across the school, all P7 pupils from Knowetop, Ladywell & Glencairn Primary schools and 6 judges, who were all former Dalziel High pupils.

The winning groups were: S1 Best Overall Project: Asthma and Antibiotics Aliesha Arnott, Amelie Dong, Ava Fulton and Vivienne Shirra

S1 Best Presentation: Chromeleons Lucy Campbell, Masie Duguid, Ollie Malcolm and Taylor McClymont

Best P7 Project: Ladywell Primary Mia Park. Gracie Freeman, Orla Bonner, Eva McCall and Isla Hamilton
