Day of Languages 2022

S1 and S2 pupils were invited to celebrate the Dalziel Day of Languages by learning about other cultures and languages spoken by the pupils in our school. Gujarati, British Sign Language, Mandarin, Romanian, Ukrainian, Polish, French and Spanish were introduced by our Languages Ambassadors through a variety of interactive and fun activities. Pupils were then asked to take part in a competition and the winners of this online quiz have been rewarded by the Languages Committee during the week.
We want to thank and congratulate again our Languages Ambassadors for their hard work in creating and leading this event. Following the success of this event, the Ambassadors are already discussing about many other opportunities to celebrate languages in Dalziel!
