School Show 2026 - The Addams Family

They're creepy and they're spooky... mysterious and kooky... they're altogether ookie... and they're haunting the halls of Dalziel High Ghoul in their presentation of "The Addams Family: The Musical!"

With a creepy cast of over sixty spectres from S1 to S4 on stage, devilish director Mrs. Kelly and MD Mrs. MacKenzie dug as deep as gravediggers to unearth the talent in our pupils. In the dark of the auditorium, too, lurked dozens of young people involved in supporting the production's spooktacular costume, lighting, sound, props and stage furnishings department. With teachers and members of the community giving their time, this was a trick and treat of all that music, drama and the arts can bring to a young person's education.

The outstanding cast performed three hair-raising performances by moonlight to wild audiences, leaving crowds howling like werewolves with appreciation. We were especially charmed to welcome the little monsters from our associated primaries for a matinee performance on Monday afternoon, giving them a vampire's bite of what fun awaits them in the regions beyond at D-hell High School!

Once again, our show was a monster mash of all that Dalziel stands for as a school, raising our spirits of Respect, Inclusion and Achievement and lurching for the highest.
