Scottish Concert Band Festival - Gold Award

Dalziel High School Concert Band were delighted to receive a gold award at the Scottish Concert Band Festival on Saturday 30th November.

The band performed three pieces for the panel of adjudicators; Vortex, Tango Argentina and Drive, after months of rehearsals and individual practice.

They were delighted to receive fabulous feedback from the adjudicators, and gold awards for all three pieces, and are now looking forward to travelling to Perth to perform in the Scottish finals in March.

Our thanks to Mr McQueen, Mrs Woods, Mr Crawford, Mr Bone, Mr Carrol and Miss Smillie for their support to the band, and to Mrs McKenzie for leading the band to their 2nd gold award, building on their success from 2024/25.
