Young Musician of the Year Competition

On Wednesday 5th February, the school held it's annual Young Musician of the Year competition, with over 30 pupils performing to a packed audience. Congratulations to every one who took part on the night, and a special congratulations to Tiffany who goes on to represent Dalziel at the North Lanarkshire competition on 30th April.
The judges had some tough choices to make but awarded the following:

• Junior Young Musician runner-up: Amelie Dong, S1, piano
• Junior Young Musician winner: Olivia Tougher-Struthers, S3, guitar
• Senior Instrumentalist runner-up: Amelia Prucnal, S6, piano
• Senior Instrumentalist winner: Murray Neilson, S4, piano
• Senior Vocalist runner-up: Sophie Burnside
• Senior Vocalist winner: Kiera Bett
• Young Musician of the Year 2024/25: Tiffany Chan, S3, piano
